The Causes and what they mean to me
My fundraising so far has always been motivated by loss and commemorating people who deserved more time and more opportunity to live full lives. I ran the inaugural London Landmarks Half Marathon in 2018, after previously struggling to walk 4KM without feeling like I was on the verge of collapse.
I successfully raised £425 for PAC-UK on behalf of a good friend, Phil Rollings, and also £645 to British Heart Foundation now I’m taking my fundraising to a new level in the hope that it leads to many not being subjected to the suffering that the loss of a loved one always brings.
My aim now is to raise £2500 towards Diabetes UK which is, for me, where a lot of the problems lie in the health and well being of many. I know there’s a long road ahead but with your support via my Just Giving Page, I know I will be able to give diabetes the run around in the hope that others can do so.
